We make no bones (pardon the pun) about it, we are stupid about animals. We pet them, feed them, pay for their vet bills and play with them. Some people think they should be called "companion animals" We think they should be called freeloaders.

When I leave for work and see our recently feed animals lounging on the couch I wonder "Who is the dumb animal here?"
